- May 12: At 00:12 Berlin time, the KMS Kummetz vanishes 50 kilometers off the coast of Peru with all hands after Laura Lombardi conducts Experiment Delta Circle Zero, the activation of the Earthsplitter Relic in a demonstration of its power for Emmerich Voss, who is observing the experiment from a second ship. The Kummetz is teleported to midair above the Himalayas. Numerous crew and passengers perish immediately from the impact when the ship drops onto a mountain peak and the others succumb to starvation, infighting and cold over the following days.[11]

- October 23: Indiana Jones arrives in Rome in search of the Cat Mummy, and infiltrates Vatican City to investigate the medallion left behind by Locus at Marshall College. There, Indy meets Gina Lombardi, who is searching Vatican City for her missing sister, Laura Lombardi. Indy also discovers the existence of the Nephilim Order, and learns of Nazi archaeologist Emmerich Voss' "Operation Great Circle", a worldwide hunt for the Great Circle artifacts. With the assistance of Benito Mussolini and Father Cesare Ventura, Voss steals the 13 Great Circle artifacts that the Nephilim Order had collected over the years.[11]
- October 25: Indiana Jones and Gina Lombardi arrive in Giza aboard Emmerich Voss' zeppelin. Indy discovers a hidden Nephilim temple beneath the Great Pyramid and retrieves the Sunsparker Relic from within the Idol of Ra. Voss seizes the Sunsparker Relic from Indy, then departs for Sukhothai, while sending Viktor Gantz in pursuit of a distress signal from the missing battleship KMS Kummetz in the Himalayas.[11]

- November 1: Indiana Jones and Gina Lombardi reach the KMS Kummetz in the Himalayas, where they recover the Earthsplitter Relic and are teleported to Shanghai.[11]
- November 6: Indiana Jones and Gina Lombardi arrive in Sukhothai to investigate a site on the Great Circle containing the Wavebreaker Relic.[11]
- November 9: the Japanese take T'ai-yuan.[5]
- November 15: Indiana Jones arrives at the Ziggurat of Ur in Iraq, which had been excavated by Emmerich Voss' Operation Great Circle over a period of several months. The Nazis had also discovered Noah's Ark and the Allmaker Relic entombed beneath the ziggurat. Indy rescues Gina Lombardi from Nazi captivity. Noah's Ark, with Locus aboard, is teleported to Antarctica.[11]
