Campbell Black's novelization of Raiders of the Lost Ark has Shishak invade Jerusalem, Israel in this year[1] despite the actual film saying that the invasion happened in 980 BC.[2] It should be noted, however, that Shoshenq I, the Pharaoh associated with the Biblical Shishak in the Raiders of the Lost Ark Sourcebook[3] didn't historically reign over Egypt in 980 BC, with 926 BC being a more historically accurate date for Shoshenq to be the Shishak who stole the Ark of the Covenant in the Indiana Jones world.
