"A Leap from the Lion's Head" was a painting of crusaders kept by Henry Walton Jones, Senior on the wall of his home at 25 Pine Road in 1938.[1]
The painting depicted eleventh-century knights plummeting to their deaths over a tall cliff while one crusader appeared to be walking on the air toward the Holy Grail with outstretched arms.[1]
Over two decades after his death,[3] Henry's son, Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr., had inherited the image, which he kept at his apartment in 1969.[2]
