In their respective automobiles, Indiana Jones and Dr. Thompson almost collided with an Acme truck as it transported goods through New Jersey in 1916 but a timely crossroads allowed them to both veer away from the danger.[1]
Twenty years later, an Acme Brand blasting cap was involved in a plot to destroy The Raven's Nest.[2]

"Acme" is a generic company name used throughout American pop culture, particularly the early half of the 20th century and associated with Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes animated short films.
An Acme Dynamite Company truck formed part of the chase sequence in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles episode "Princeton, February 1916" but the gag was dropped when it was re-cut for Spring Break Adventure.
