The alligator is a close relative of the crocodile, a group that consists of two species, the American alligator, from the southeastern United States, and the Chinese alligator, from eastern China. They are large, semi-aquatic reptiles, up to four meters long, and easily capable of killing and devouring an adult human.
Adventures with alligators[]
While trying to flee from Fedora and his gang, with the Cross of Coronado on board the Dunn & Duffy Combined Circus train in Utah in 1912, Indiana Jones passed through a reptile car.[1] There, he was fascinated by the diversity of reptile species contained inside the vats that the train was carrying which included alligators.[2]
