Mola Ram and his followers pursued the heroes to a rope bridge where Jones cuts the ropes, sending most of Mola Ram's soldiers to their deaths in a river of crocodiles. Mola Ram fights Jones while holding onto the planks and is suprised to see Jones recite an incantation which makes the stones glow red hot. They burn through Jones's bag and two already fall into the river. Mola grabs onto the last one but his hand is burned and he loses his grip. With a scream, Mola Ram falls into the river and is torn to shreds by crocodiles. |

Puri as Mola Ram in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Amrish Puri (b. June 22, 1932 - d. January 12, 2005) was the actor who portrayed Mola Ram. After doing Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, he always shaved his head. Actor Roshan Seth, the actor who played Chattar Lal, commented that he was India's best villain.
Puri passed away in 2005 after suffering a brain hemorrhage at the age of 72.
