Ankara is the capital of Turkey.
In 1918, Stefan referenced Ankara in response to his then-friend Indiana Jones asking if he knew of a time that Jones had ever lost a bet but Stefan added that Jones would never admit it.[1]
Ankara was included on a map of the Middle East shown to US president Woodrow Wilson by British and French premiers David Lloyd George and Georges Clemenceau at the 1919 Paris Peace Conference to mark their interests in the area.[2]
The tablet which formed the first marker to the Holy Grail's location was found in the mountains north of Ankara by Walter Donovan's engineers around 1938.[3]
