José Antonio Domínguez Bandera (born August 10, 1960), known professionally as Antonio Banderas, is a Spanish actor, director, producer and singer.
On July 15, 2021, Deadline announced that Banderas had joined the production of the fifth theatrical Indiana Jones film.[1] In the film, he plays the role of Renaldo.
Banderas is perhaps best known for his numerous collaborations with the acclaimed Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar and his many appearances in multiple Hollywood films like Philadelphia, Interview with the Vampire, Desperado, Assassins, Evita, and The Mask of Zorro (an Amblin Entertainment co-production). He has also appeared in the Spy Kids film series and voiced Puss in Boots in the Shrek franchise and in its spin-off film and sequel.
