An archivist oversaw the elderly warehouseman hauling a crate containing the Ark of the Covenant through Hangar 51 in Nevada, USA in 1936.
Biography[]
After the Ark of the Covenant was found by American archaeologist Indiana Jones at Tanis, Egypt and stolen out from under a group of Nazis led by Colonel Herman Dietrich and French archaeologist René Emile Belloq, the Ark was confiscated by the US government.[1]
Despite the protests of Indiana Jones and National Museum curator Marcus Brody, who had been promised the Ark in exchange for Jones's services in retrieving it, the artifact was instead taken away to a secret government warehouse in Nevada. There an archivist oversaw an elderly warehouseman who stored away the crate holding the Ark, placing it with many other similar containers.[1]
