"Barcelona, May 1917" is the tenth episode of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and the fourth episode in season two. It originally aired on ABC on October 12, 1992. For home video, it was combined with "Prague, August 1917" to form Espionage Escapades.
Plot summary[]
Opening bookend[]
Indiana Jones bungles the opening to a speech for the Pennsylvania Historical Society, fumbling over the podium and leading him to recall the many blunders he made as a spy in Barcelona.
Barcelona, May 1917[]

Indy joins up with an international trio of spies plotting against their German counterparts in the neutral city of Barcelona. After his old acquaintance Pablo Picasso helps him get a job at the Ballets Russes, Indy devises a plan to forge a love letter written by the German cultural attaché to make it seem the man was having an affair with the Countess of Toledo.
Closing bookend[]
As Jones wraps up his story to the group, a man enters the room to inform Professor Jones that his audience is waiting across the hall and informs him that he's in the wrong room and has been speaking to a group from the American Congress of Neurolog, not the Pennsylvania History Society.
