Philip St. John Basil Rathbone, best known simply as Basil Rathbone, was a Hollywood actor.

American movie fan Professor Julio Huertas was aware of Rathbone's work in 1937. During his stay in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Huertas asked the American archaeologist Indiana Jones questions about Rathbone, with Jones confirming to him that Rathbone was a short man, hence why he played many villains in his films.[1]
