The Bergmann family was a German family of which Bertram Bergmann was part. Family members included:
- Bertram Bergmann's father - An expert on the bullwhip art of the Aperschnalzen and apparent patriarch
- Bertram Bergmann's mother - Apparent matriarch
- Bertram Bergmann - Nazi soldier and bodyguard of Third Reich Special Antiquities Collection agent Emmerich Voss
A family involved in violent matters, Bertram was taught to use the Apeschnalzen by his father despite the concerns of his mother, who thought "something was wrong on his head". These abilities would later come into handy when Bertram assisted Voss and the Nazi Party to discover the mystery behind the Great Circle in 1937.[1]

That Bertram Bergmann was taught by his father the Aperschnalzen, a particular Austro-Bavarian cultural tradition of competitive whipcracking, is perhaps an indication that the family hailed from Altbayern.[1]
