Bill Reed is a stuntman who worked on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Lucasfilm's 1988 film Willow.

The Complete Making of Indiana Jones states that Reed portrayed the gong striker in Temple of Doom, but the article "50 Fascinating 'Facts' About Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" in Indiana Jones: The Official Magazine 3, claims that Pat Roach played the gong striker and the assassin at Pankot Palace in addition to his credited role as Chief Guard. However, it has been speculated that the late wrestler Don Stansauk (a.k.a. Hard Boiled Haggerty) played the gong striker with which producer Frank Marshall concurs, albeit with uncertainty, while both he and Kathleen Kennedy both acknowledge that the gong striker was not portrayed by Pat Roach.
