Bomani was a prince of Egypt who went to war with his brother Bakari.

Prince Bomani was the brother of Bakari and Akil. The middle child, Bomani felt that his command over the armies entitled him to the position of pharaoh over Bakari, his older brother. The two went to war and they ended up killing each other, which ultimately paved the way for Akil to become pharaoh. The story of the three brothers fell into legend.

In 1934, Sallah Mohammed Faisel el-Kahir and a member of the Adventure Society went in search of the brothers' buried pyramids. When his pyramid was disturbed, Bomani's undead form rose as a mummy to fend off the Society intruder looking to take his crown.
