Boston is the capital city of the American state of Massachusetts. Located on the Atlantic coast, Boston was a prominent commercial center since colonial times. The city has a professional baseball team, the Boston Red Sox.[1]

In 1912, Professor Henry Walton Jones, Senior stayed in Boston while attending a meeting of historians at Harvard University.[2]
In 1916, Tara's uncle Clancy was in Boston.[3]
By at least 1935, Jacob's Oil and Leather was located there.[4]
In late October 1937, Indiana Jones posed as "Father Gallagher" from St. Joseph's in Boston to Father Cesare Ventura while disguised as a priest by his friend Father Antonio Morello at Vatican City as he looked into the mystery behind the Great Circle.[5]
