Biography[]
Hilliard worked for London University Archaeology Department chairman Joanna Campbell in 1925 when Indiana Jones began teaching there. After Campbell died, Hilliard kept her position under Campbell's successor Victor Bernard for several months before she relocated to New York City to fulfill her desire to see America.[1]
In 1926, Jones visited Marcus Brody at his museum in New York and was surprised to discover that Hilliard had since become Brody's office secretary.[1]
