The Brody family was a British family of which Marcus Brody was part. Family members included:

A wealthy family from London, England,[1] the Brodys owned a Bible passed down through several generations, and was reputedly used for Abraham Lincoln's oath of office. It was bequeathed to Marshall College after Marcus' passing. Dean Charles Stanforth, Marcus' successor, considered using it for the wedding of Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood, two of Marcus' friends,[2] but the ceremony was conducted with a Book of Common Prayer.[3]
