"There all kinds of ways of life in this world. One is not right, one is not wrong. Understanding others, we can accept them and through acceptance comes, heh, a peaceful world."
―Bronislaw Malinowski[src]

Bronislaw Malinowski was a Polish-Austrian anthropologist who spent many years studying western Pacific islanders.

It was he who convinced Indiana Jones to follow his dream and return to the USA in order to embark on his studies to become an archaeologist.

Biography

Indiana Jones met Bronislaw Malinowski shortly after the end of World War I while stranded on the Trobriand Islands where Malinowski was studying the society and customs of the local islanders.

Malinowski provided some small assistance to Indy and his friend Remy Baudouin in their search for the Peacock's Eye diamond. However, his ultimate gift to Indy was his good advice which convinced Indy to abandon the hunt for the legendary diamond and return to the US and begin his university studies in archaeology.
