The Bronze Jue was an example of an early Chinese Shang Dynasty vessel from the ancient Erligang culture. It was decorated with an animal mask motif.
American archaeologist Indiana Jones found the bronze jue, used for heating alcohol, while journeying through Sukhothai in 1937 as he investigated the grander mystery of the Great Circle. He realized it was a lost artifact and resolved to see it returned to its "rightful home".[1]
