Indiana Jones found himself in Buenos Aires in June 1919 after a ship carried him to Argentina when he was beaten up and robbed while trying to get to New York from France.

Jones and fellow professor Francisca Uribe del Arco traveled through Buenos Aires in 1937 in their search for the Chimu Taya Arms of Cuzco.
