As with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom's Club Obi Wan, the C'boath Bar is a Star Wars reference; in this case to character Jorus/Joruus C'baoth from author Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy of novels. LucasArts programmers likely included it as an easter egg in homage to both Zahn and the Temple of Doom nightclub.
