Café Belgique was a restaurant in London run by Suzette Chambin that was frequented by resident Belgians displaced during World War I. Suzette and her children lived above the cafe.[1]
Indiana Jones and Remy Baudouin visited Café Belgique shortly after enlisting in the Belgian army in 1916. There, they met Suzette who soon married Remy in a whirlwind romance.[1] After the war ended in 1918 the two soldiers reunited at the restaurant before heading off to Egypt to pursue the Peacock's Eye diamond.[2]
