The Canyon of the Crescent Moon was a crescent-shaped canyon in Hatay.

The resting place of the Holy Grail, the Temple of the Sun, was located inside the canyon. After a violent confrontation between Indiana Jones and a tank-equipped expedition of Nazis in 1938, the canyon also became the final resting place of German Colonel Ernst Vogel.
