Carlo Paretti was a representative of the Italian war ministry during World War I.

Biography

In 1918, Carlo Paretti and his American colleague Henry Stanfill met with Colonel Waters and Captain Indiana Jones–going by his nom de guerre Henri Defense while serving in World War I–to brief and assign the pair their mission into Transylvania to investigate Mattias Targo, a Romanian general who had inexplicably attacked his own ally's POW camp and abducted the Allied inmate population.
