Cartoon Network is an American pay television channel owned by the Turner Broadcasting System. Founded on October 1, 1992, the channel primarily targets children and broadcasts mostly animated television series, it also caters to older teens and adults with mature content through Adult Swim, the channel's late night programming block.
In 2008, Cartoon Network broadcast the LEGO Indiana Jones short LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick. Previous to that, Cartoon Network aired the LEGO Star Wars short Revenge of the Brick, made by The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm Ltd., as well as the Star Wars: Clone Wars shorts and the first five seasons Star Wars: The Clone Wars as part of Turner's deal with Lucasfilm.
