Indiana Jones Wiki

Cerdic was a figure from a more obscure story in the Arthur legend which placed him as son of the king.[1]

In 1913, after their adventure involving King Arthur's dragon ring, the young Indiana Jones entrusted the artifact to his friend Cerdic Sandyford when he remembered the legendary Cerdic and, from his supernatural experiences, had reason to suspect Sandyford was a descendant of the prince.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The Cerdic mentioned in Young Indiana Jones and the Ghostly Riders[1] likely refers to Cerdic of Wessex, a historical figure, though even that is disputed, tied to conflicting sources of Arthurian legend.[2]
