Charlie was the grandson of Indiana Jones.[1]
In the early 1990s, Charlie got cold feet at his wedding and tried to discreetly exit the New England church ahead of ceremony. However, he walked into his grandfather who was inspired to recall his own doomed romance with Molly Walder during World War I. The story brought both members of the Jones family to tears but Charlie was able to find his courage to become a husband.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Charlie was a character written into the bookends for the "Istanbul, September 1918" episode of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.[1] Ultimately, however, the story was broadcast without the framing device.[2]
