Chataryna was a young girl from Mayapore.
After Indiana Jones, Willie Scott and Short Round had liberated the children kept as slaves in the mines under Pankot Palace in 1935, Chataryna gave Jones some flowers and fern fronds. Jones kept her gifts and taped them into his journal, identifying the flower as some local variety of poppy.
