A man became the father of Chattar Lal,[1] the future Prime Minister of Pankot Province,[2] around 1900.[3] Chattar Lal claimed to have spent his childhood playing around a small Kali shrine located in the jungle between Mayapore and Pankot, so his sire often warned him over not letting the statue claim his Atman (the Hindu concept for someone's soul).[1]
