Drawing of the Chinese Lantern Projector

The ancient Chinese Lantern Projector was a projector in Archie Tan's office on his desk. With the room lights turned out, light generated by the lantern would project a series of Chinese zodiac images. Blowing on projector would change the images. The images corresponded to zodiac pictures on the office wall. Pushing them in the correct order opened a hidden wall safe that held a disk-shaped key to Tan's secret basement.

In 1939, Indiana Jones figured out how to use the projector and discovered that Tan had encoded his safe's entry sequence as the series of zodiac symbols projected by the lantern projector.
