Plot summary
The grand opening of Marion Ravenwood's Manhattan nightclub, The Raven's Nest, is disrupted by a series of mishaps. Indiana Jones—Ravenwood's silent partner—suspects local gangster Emil Marko is behind the incidents, but rejects the theory after discovering evidence that Marko had abandoned plans to persuade Ravenwood into installing casino games at the nightclub. Jones and Ravenwood then turn their attention to Jamal, the club's decorator. Jamal confesses, revealing his scheme to smuggle black market artifacts disguised as decorations, then destroy the evidence by bombing the club. Jamal's bomb detonates in the struggle that follows, killing him. Jones and Ravenwood narrowly escape, but The Raven's Nest is completely decimated.
