"My mind... rotting..."
―Crescenzo, in a letter[src]

Father Crescenzo was a 16th century priest who became known around the Vatican for his descent into madness.

Biography[]

Life and death[]

Father Crescenzo was a priest who lived during the 16th century and lost his sanity while on an assignment chasing a conspiracy beneath the Vatican, eventually passing away unaware of how correct he was regarding giants and fallen angels lurking in the shadows, those actually being clandestine members of the Nephilim Order.[1]

Legacy[]

Centuries later, in October 1937, archaeologist Indiana Jones and his friend–Father Antonio Morello–found the remains of Crescenzo at his desk in a chamber hidden below the Apostolic Library which Jones had accessed with a pendant he'd retrieved from an unusually tall figure that had robbed Marshall College days earlier. While Jones went off to pursue the mystery, Morello stayed behind to ensure that Crecenzo received a proper burial. In that time, Crecenzo's diary was discovered but it got confiscated by the Blackshirts occupying Vatican City with Father Cesare Ventura's permission.[1]
