Cunningham was an English agent stationed in Barcelona during the First World War.
Biography[]
Cunningham was a novelist who wrote thrillers before becoming a secret agent himself during World War I. As a spy in 1917 he met with fellow agent Indiana Jones.[1]

Cunningham was portrayed by Timothy Spall in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles episode "Barcelona, May 1917", later edited into Espionage Escapades.[1]
The character is pictured with Indiana Jones and Marcello in Indiana Jones: The Ultimate Guide but he is misidentified in the caption as "Saul from France".[2]
