Dan Madsen (born February 16, 1992) is an American writer, editor and publisher.
In 1987, at Lucasfilm Ltd.'s request, Madsen took over the outsourced operations of the Star Wars/Lucasfilm Fan Club and launched The Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine—eventually rebranded as Star Wars Insider—which he edited and wrote for. In 2001, when the fan club was sold to Wizards of the Coast, Madsen asssisted with the transition to their first magazine issue (number 51) but would continue to contribute articles thereafter, albeit less frequently.
During his tenure as president of the fan club, Madsen also wrote the 1992 book The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles: On the Set and Behind the Scenes.
