Davenport is a city in Iowa
In 1926, Indiana Jones attended the controversial launch of the "New Evidence of Ancient Forays to the Americas" exhibition at Marcus Brody's museum in New York City which proposed that overseas ancient expeditions had journeyed as far as North and South America. The exhibit included a suggestion that the Phoenicians had inhabited Iowa 2500 years prior and noted the similarity between the script on a plaque discovered in 1874 and that of Phoenician colonists in Spain.
