The Deputy Sheriff accompanied the Sheriff to the Jones residence after a young Indiana Jones sent Herman for them in 1912. After the Sheriff secured the Cross of Coronado for Fedora, the Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff both left.
Behind the Scenes
The non-speaking role of the Deputy Sheriff was played by Ted Grossman in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Grossman also played a role as a Peruvian porter in Raiders of the Lost Ark and did stuntwork in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
