Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei was a German company that operated commercial airships in the 1930s. Their fleet included zeppelins such as the Hindenburg and the D-138.
In 1938, Indiana Jones and Henry Jones, Sr. flew aboard the D-138 on a flight from Berlin to Athens. The younger Jones kept the flight coupons from this trip in his journal.
Behind the scenes[]
The real Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei ceased operations after the Hindenburg crash in 1937.
