The Dog Statue was a Chinese sculpture of a dog. In 1939, it was discovered in Chinatown by Indiana Jones. Jones considered the piece to be crude but noted that it still belonged in a museum. It was a burial offering, but Jones noted that it was hard to say when it was made but estimated around two thousand year ago.[1]
