―Dutchman[src]

The Dutchman was a man of Dutch origin who hung out at the main store in Franceville, in French Equatorial Africa.

In December 1916, the Dutchman was standing on the porch of the store with several other men when he was approached by a group of Belgian and Force Publique soldiers, led by Captain Henri Defense (Indiana Jones). Defense inquired about where to hire a boat, and the Dutchman remarked on the state of his men, and then pointed them to Mr. Sloat at the dock.[1]
