E.T. II was a film made by director Steven Spielberg.
Spielberg wore a hat from the production when he viewed a screening of LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick with George Lucas.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
E.T. II is a reference to Steven Spielberg's film E.T. the Extraterrestrial. In reality, back during the film's first theatrical run, Spielberg and screenwriter Melissa Mathison had considered a sequel titled E.T. II: Nocturnal Fears, but it was cancelled.[2] In the LEGO universe, however, it seems that the film was actually made.
LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick director Peder Pedersen included the reference towards E.T. II as the idea of a sequel to E.T. was big in the early 1980s.[3]
