E.T. II was a film made by director Steven Spielberg.[1]
Spielberg wore a hat from the production when he viewed a screening of LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick with George Lucas.[1]

E.T. II is a reference to Steven Spielberg's 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. In reality, during the film's first theatrical run, Spielberg and screenwriter Melissa Mathison had considered a sequel titled E.T. II: Nocturnal Fears, but Spielberg decided against pursuing it.[2] In the LEGO universe, however, it seems that the film was actually made.[1]
LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick director Peder Pedersen included the reference towards E.T. II as the idea of a sequel to E.T. was big in the early 1980s.[3]
