Elvira Kandinsky was an agent of the KGB, working for the interests of the Soviet Union. At some point during her career, Kandinsky had an encounter with the American archaeologist Indiana Jones, which was noted by the KGB.[1]
In the early 21st century, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation noted in their annotations of Jones' journal that Kandinsky, one of the three known KGB agents with whom Jones had interacted alongside Igor Barkov and Irina Spalko, was deceased.[1]
