
The Emmy Awards, also known simply as the Emmys, are a set of awards for artistic and technical merit in the television industry, given annually by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, to recognize excellence in achievements as assessed by the Academy's voting membership.
The Emmy Awards were first presented in 1949. The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles and its related specials were nominated for 27 Emmy Awards and won 12 between 1992 and 1997.[1]
