Evans was a student of Barnett College around 1936.
When Professor Indiana Jones and reporter friend Marya Smirnova blew up one of the college's labs with their experiment into the Philosopher's Stone, Evans rushed to Jones's side but the archaeologist directed him to help Smirnova instead.[1]
