Flipping...[]

  • Any chance this could be flipped back into its original position? Representative of artist's original intent and all that (yes I know it's cropped). Vetinari (Appointment) 17:06, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
    • There's a long precedent of flipping infobox images so the character faces left (toward the body of the article). I don't see the problem as long as the character has symmetric features. (And you're right, the cropping is much more transformative than the flipping.) --Icybro 13:04, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
      • There's such a precedent? I imagine most of us have missed it because it's not something that's immediately obvious. In my opinion, we shouldn't be flipping images. As for cropping, I consider that far less transformative, since it doesn't actually *change* what's represented in an image, rather than limit its scope. jSarek 23:36, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
