The Fokker Dr.I was a German World War I fighter aircraft most famous for its use by Manfred von Richthofen.
History[]
In 1917, Anthony Fokker designed the triplane and showed it to Manfred von Richthofen. Richthofen was very impressed and he used the triplane to score many victories for Germany, including shooting down Hobey Baker and Indiana Jones on Indy's last mission with the 124th Squadron. They both survived, however their Sopwith 1½ Strutter did not and exploded after it landed.
