The Ford Model T was a popular car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. Made from 1908[1] to 1927 and meant to be affordable, they were commonly used all over the world in the first half of the twentieth century.
In 1929, the mayor of Easter Island owned a Model T, the only car on the island. He named it Calvin after US President Calvin Coolidge.[2]
