Frederic Joliot-Curie was a renowned French scientist who, together with his wife Irene, discovered the process of induced radioactivity.
Biography[]
Frederic Joliot-Curie was an acquaintance of American archaeologist Indiana Jones.[1]
The pair were reunited in 1936 when Jones, alongside his friend Marya Smirnova, sought out Joliot-Curie's help at his lab in Paris to analyze a sample of the Philosopher's Stone found in a vial hidden at the nearby Musée de Cluny. However, the scientist's time was limited, so he entrusted the task to a capable lab assistant.[1]
