The Ganges River is a large and holy river in India and Bangladesh. The river is about 2700 kilometers long. The Yamuna River is a tributary of the Ganges.
In 1910, during his father's world lecture tour, Indiana Jones and his family visited Benares on the Ganges where the future archaeologist met Jiddu Krishnamurti.
