The German Mechanic was a bald headed, musclebound German that fought Indiana Jones in 1936. He attacked the archaelogist when he saw Jones was trying sabotage the Flying Wing being prepped to fly the Ark of the Covenant out to Berlin.
The mechanic overpowered Jones in their fist fight but met his end being blindsided by the blades of the Fying Wing's propeller.
Behind the scenes
The German Mechanic was played by Pat Roach, a hulking stuntman present on the three first movies.
