The Golden Jaguar Flute was an artifact sought by Indiana Jones in Bolivia, 1940.
Unbeknownst to Jones, the flute had already passed to the Guaraní tribe when he visited their village to find out what had become of artifact. After he foiled a plot by botanist Josie Kelland to poison the villagers and steal their treasures, the archaeologist was offered one of the pieces as a reward. He saw the Golden Jaguar Flute was among them and chose it, being told the village leader would be pleased to be rid of the ugly artifact.
